Tennessee Voices for Truth is an organization of individuals who have come together to help educate and bring awareness to the community about people on the sex offender registry, who they are as people, who their families are, what value they have in our community and as a human beings.
Tennessee Voices of Truth desires to effectively educate, restore dignity, cultivate courage, and awaken hope. We execute this through a concentrated focus on authentic community and the reality of second chances. We also believe that once a person has completed their sentence, they have paid their debt to society, that no retroactive law should be able to be instituted to continue the punishment for a lifetime.
We do not advocate any crime and we do not support anyone who believes that sex crimes of any kind should be legalized. We do, however, believe that sex crimes leave a long list of effected individuals. The most obvious is the person to whom the crime was committed against, the falsely accused, family and friends of the registered individual as well as the registered individual themselves.
